HIV and Hepatitis C Counseling in Substance Use will cover the basics of understanding how both communicable diseases present, their symptoms, prevention, screening, pre- and post-test counseling, treatment, and referral.
Objectives:
- Understand the basics of HIV and Hep C as communicable diseases, how they are transmitted and how they are linked to substance use.
- Develop an understanding and applicable skills for prevention, screening, pre- and post-test counseling, treatment, and referral.
